Support pre-production, production and post-production activities:

• Perform configuration, setup and testing in various QA, UAT and production environments
• Assist in preparation of release notes, installation and configuration guides for every release
• Triage and reproduce customer reported bugs
• Work with customer support & development teams in reproducing and resolving customer support issues, and test fixes before it is released to the customer
• Analyze customer support issues to identify patterns of problem areas that need additional test coverage
• Use this data to proactively strategize ways to improve product quality and reduce problems found by customer

Play a key role in leadership activities at the team level.

• Work with Project Manager and Product Management in creation of test strategy, test plans and assist in preparing project plans
• Play a key role in the release process -- during pre-production and production deployment and other related activities
• Manage the testing work of all features/bug fixes in one or two modules in a large project, by (informally) managing the work of one or two junior QA engineers in the team - monitoring their work output, quality and schedule
